Chapman Golf Club…….to host ICAZ maiden fundraising golf day

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe will be holding its maiden Fundraising Golf Day on the 26th of February 2010 at Chapman Golf Club. The tournament seeks to raise USD$10 000 (Ten Thousand Dollars) towards the ICAZ Foundation and many worthwhile charitable causes.

The ICAZ Foundation was established in 1996, in the main, to give capacity to the needy but bright students, in order for them to realise their goals of studying towards becoming Chartered Accountants. The foundation had become moribund in the past years as a result of the unprecedented economic challenges. In line with the Chartered Accountants Act Chapter 27:02, the Institute has several obligations which inter alia include: to encourage the study of accountancy. Therefore, the revival of the Foundation is quintessential for this reason and hence its re-launch is set for the evening of the 26th of February 2010.

ICAAZ has extended this invitation to golfers and corporates to participate at the Fundraising Golf Day. They are appealing for their involvement in any or all of the following areas:
• As a participating team, a non-refundable fee of USD300 is required

• As a corporate sponsor of a hole, you will pay a fee of USD200. You can take advantage of the opportunity to display your corporate logo or banners. However, for prime holes i.e holes. 1, 9, 10 and 18 the fee will be USD100.

• As a corporate sponsor of prizes, these can take the form of cash or goods donation, appropriate recognition will be given to your company at the event and at the cocktail party thereafter.

• If you are unable to play or sponsor a hole or a prize, we request that your company contribute a goodwill donation to ICAZ Foundation for onward distribution to charitable projects/organizations we administer.
