| The ZIMBABWE OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT makes a welcome return on the Zimbabwe and Sunshine Tour calendar this year after a nine year absence. The Zimbabwe Open Golf Tournament was last run in this country in the year 2001 and had remained suspended since the last tournament because of numerous challenges faced after the general deterioration of the Zimbabwean economy and social environment. The re-launch is set for Thursday, 4 February 2010 at Royal Harare Golf Club. Invitations have been extended to media, sports personalities, golfers, golf club captains and the business community to witness the event.

ZIMBABWE GOLFERS ASSOCIATION RELEASES CALENDAR FOR 2010 |

| THE 2010 local golf scene will be punctuated by a flurry of tournaments that should ensure no shortage of battered golf courses right around the country, following the release of the this year's calendar by the Zimbabwe Golfers Association (ZGA) Secretary Joseph Sithole. The obvious highlight of the year has to be long-awaited return of the Zimbabwe Open which has been off the radar for just about the past decade now. According to ZGA Secretariate, the Zim Open will be held in April 2010 and the finer details are being worked out.
